A Fashionable Partnership – Quirk and Africhic

by Emma Carpenter on 2010/09/06

For the last few days the fashionistas at Quirk have been getting their 12cm stilettos in a twist at the news of Quirk partnering with Africhic (2010 Retailer of the Year at the African Fashion Awards) on a cool new project aimed at promoting design students. Africhic is an online luxury fashion retailer for contemporary African fashion, with a strong focus of supporting local talent, giving designers a platform to show their work and gain exposure globally.

AfrichicAfrichic are offering design students the chance to redesign their site from scratch. All you need to do is read the brief, submit your designs for the new website and if you are selected by the judging panel, you'll win a juicy R5000 voucher to spend on Africhic and a 12 month internship with us and the brains of Quirk.

This is the first time that Quirk has been involved in a design competition, and we're looking forward to seeing the results and fresh ideas from South Africa's emerging design talent.

Think you have what it takes? Read the full brief here.
