A geek dinner to remember

The geeks are growing up! The Stormhoek Jozi Geek Dinner was a preamble, a glimpse if you will, into of the future of business in South Africa. This was not a night about tech, IT, wiz kids or any of the preconceived images that come to mind when you hear the word geek.

The geeks present consisted of a group of people that demand knowledge, strive for excellence and share unconditionally, and they expect the same from the people they interact with.



The evening was a blast, with intelligent conversation, good food, excellent wine ... and beer in a bucket ... ooooh! If you ever get the opportunity to partake in an event like this, be sure not to miss it!

Thanks go out to Stormhoek for the great wine and great story and to Mike for organising it.

Ja, a great evening for sure - I can only assume that the fuzzy pic above shows how much wine you had consumed by this time?!

Thanks Mike, the pleasure was all mine - the pic was fuzzy because it was taken with a cellphone and I have not sorted out the details yet - also, that's how I felt the next morning.
